Kind of Blue by Miles Davis is arguably one of the greatest jazz albums of all time. It’s the one jazz record owned by people who don’t listen to jazz. And although the album is great, the album cover never seemed to do the music justice. Just like a jazz standard, this is my reinterpretation of the album cover.
I took a classic image of Miles Davis and created a blue monotone in Adobe Photoshop then imported the image into Adobe Illustrator to do the typography.
